Ruby Marzovilla - Accomplished in Sports Medicine and Choreography

Performing artist Ruby Marzovilla maintains a wellness consultancy emphasizing healthy living practices. She develops client-focused weekly and monthly fitness plans and teaches proper form with weights, including Olympic lifts. Ruby Marzovilla is interested in public health and has facilitated aspects of disability justice events, such as safety training and seizure protocol for volunteer staff members at COLAGE National events.

While studying anthropology and biochemistry at Oberlin College in Ohio, Ms. Marzovilla worked as a sports medicine student aid. She helped trainers care for student-athletes at training, practices, and games. She wrapped athletes before the competitions and assisted with post-game recovery while organizing staff documents and student records.

Ms. Marzovilla is known for her choreography skills and taught dance steps, positioning, and movement to actors in Zoe Ervolino’s “Tropicana” music video. She created TikTok dances and long-form choreography for the music video for Backpack Ben’s song “No Good.” She also assisted the cinematographer with lighting and helped ensure a fun, high-energy atmosphere on set.
